Please see below some Frequently Asked Questions to assist as you plan to visit our venue.

Please remember as you prepare to visit our venue, that the measures below have been put into place by the NSW Government to assure all our safety and our staff are only doing their job as they try to follow these rules. Let's all treat each other with respect and enjoy the freedoms we have all been waiting so long for!

When we reopen, we will be subject to certain rules as directed under the Public Health Order:

  • Guests must provide personal contact details via the Service NSW QR Code
  • Masks must be worn inside
  • We will be operating under capacity restrictions - one person per 4sqm inside and one person per 2sqm outside.
  • Only fully vaccinated patrons over 18 will initially be able to enter our venues. Lady Banks Rooftop is an 18+ venue.
  • Any eligible individuals who cannot show proof of vaccination will not be permitted under any circumstance to enter our premises.
  • Bookings must be for a group of 20 or less

Can I come to Lady Banks Rooftop if I’ve only had one vaccine dose?

No, the NSW Government has announced that only people who have received both doses of the vaccine can come to Lady Banks Rooftop once NSW reaches the 70 per cent double-dose milestone.

How can I get proof in hard copy?
You can ask your vaccination provider to print your immunisation history statement.
You can also call the Australian Immunisation Register on 1800 653 809 and ask them to send your statement to you. It can take up to 14 days to arrive in the post.

What if I can’t get vaccinated?
Subject to the legislation which mandates vaccinations, people who can’t be vaccinated may be permitted to enter Lady Banks Rooftop if they obtain a “contraindication certificate” in the approved form (which can be found here). Please consult your medical practitioner for further information. It is likely that we will only be permitted to accept a medical exemption in the approved form.

How can I prove to Lady Banks Rooftop that I’m fully vaccinated or medically exempt?
You can show our staff proof of vaccination:

  • Open your Express Plus Medicare mobile app, click “Immunisation history” and then click “View COVID-19 digital certificate”
  • Access our COVID-19 digital certificate in your Apple Wallet or Google Pay
  • Present a hard copy of your immunisation history statement
  • Present a hard copy of a medical exemption (contraindication certifcate) in the approved form completed by a medical practitioner.

We kindly ask that you have this information ready before you arrive at the venue, to prevent crowding.

How will Lady Banks Rooftop know my proof of vaccine or medical exemption is authentic?
At our discretion, we may attempt to verify that your “proof of vaccine” is authentic. We remind you that it is a federal offence to falsify this information.

Can I bring a cake?
Yes, a cakeage fee of $7 per person applies and includes cutting and service of the cake.
